Mortgage Apple Company

Please watch and share my video interview for MomtoMomTV.com of Angela Logan. Angela is a Bergen County mom who turned a horrific situation into a thriving business. She is one of the most inspirational women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She falls into the category of a person you'll never forget.

Beautifully filmed by Donna Brennan for Wonton Women Productions LLC

  1. Ann, that was great! You are just a natural entertainer, in addition to being a fantastic writer. I am so proud to call you my cousin. A great story and I will spread the word about Angela's business and will be buying her cakes real soon. Thanks again.

  2. Oh, btw where did the name of her company originate? I think I get the mortgage part, but where did "Apple" come from? And to be doubly nosy, where did you get the WonTon name from?

  3. The name of Angela's company originated from the fact that just about everything she bakes has apples in it. When she first started baking it was all apple cakes.

The name "Wonton Women" was born one night last winter during a fundraiser at the Kearny House--an original 18th century tavern at the base of the Hudson River in Alpine. In a colonial tavern over candlelight an historical reenactor passed around a copy of an 18th century men's guide to "working women" in England. They referred to the women as "Wonton Women." And so, the name was scribbled onto a napkin & a production company was born. There's three of us: Donna Brennan who is an amazing filmmaker, Arya Jenkins an outstanding writer, artist & editor, & little old me. Our first production is MomtoMomTV.com.
